My name is Angel Catlin, I live in Wisconsin. Born and raised here. I am married and have 4 beautiful children. I started this website to have the opportunity to find and learn more about my family history.
I am hoping to be able to find information as well as help someone else that may be looking. I will do my best to gather info and post it here. I will also post other suggestions to find history as well as other websites or links.

Arnold Woldemar Rebane DOB 07-12-1912 Death 12-00-1981 Born in Dorpat , Estonia Children: Ito Rebane
Arnold was married to Jutta Elise Moelzer in Riga Latvia in 1936, there Arnold was an amateur Boxing champion. They moved to the States in 1952, I'd like to add they departed from Bremerhaven Germany and arrived in New York, New York on 10-14-1952 on the General St. Heintzelman. Arnold started working for Nachman's Candy Company, and then moving on to be a Boxing Coach at YMCA in Chicago. He then became a Confectionary Master for the Bloomer Candy Company, then he opened his own company called Schoggi Candy Company in Wheeling Illinois, after this he then joined The Wander Company to be an Inventor/Researcher. Arnolds wife Jutta passed away in 1956 of a cerebral hemorage. He later remarried to Linda Sillo on 9-25-1957. Arnold later passed in 1981 due to pancreas cancer. Arnold also had numerous patents for candies.
Arnolds father was Eduard Rebane who married Pauline Elmik.

Ito was born in Riga Latvia, In 1952 moved to the states with his father, mother and Aunts. Arnold had one brother who stayed behind, his name at this time is unknown. In Chicago later married Barbara Josephine Kress. He later moved to Wisconsin to open a small motion picture studio, He currently resides in Saxon Wisconsin with his wife Barbara. He has 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Hilda arrived in the United States on 09-30-1950 from Bremerhaven Germany (origin Latvia) on the General RM Blatchford.
Hilda had one child Taimi who married Leonard Wilk, They had three children Sandra, Cindy and Greg.

Angailica married Todd A Catlin on February 25, 1995. They currently reside in Gleason WIsconsin. The oldest child Justin joined the military in November 2008, he joined the Army National Guard. There children currently are in involved in Go-Cart Racing and local tracks in there area. Angel attended the Merrill Area Public Schools Merrill Wisconsin and graduated in 1989.
